For this category , the participant needs some sponsorship from AWS or anyone creating app using AWS Managed blockchain is eligible. Any special approval/ acknowledgement from AWS is required?.

  Anyone developing an app using AWS managed Blockchain will be eligible. There’s no requirement of the project being sponsored by AWS.
